YARI Award

Happy New Year, YART Membership! You already read this announcement in the YART newsletter, but I am making another announcement here on the listserv:

YARI AWARD NOMINATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED!

Each year, YART honors a librarian who has shown exceptional ability in motivating young adults to read by developing and implementing a reading incentive program for young adults. The YARI (Young Adult Reading Incentive) Award consists of an engraved plaque and a stipend of $250 to be presented at the YART General Business Meeting during the TLA Annual Conference.

If you are interested in applying for the YARI, and yes, you can nominate yourself, please go to our website for the nomination form.

Nominations and supporting materials are due February 26, 2010.
