YARI AWARD NOMINATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED!

Each year, YART honors a librarian who has shown exceptional ability in motivating young adults to read by developing and implementing a reading incentive program for young adults. The YARI (Young Adult Reading Incentive) Award consists of an engraved plaque and a stipend of $250 to be presented at the YART General Business Meeting during the TLA Annual Conference.

If you are interested in applying for the YARI, and yes, you can nominate yourself, please go to our website for the nomination form.

The Texas Teens 4 Libraries (TT4L) registration information is now available on the YART website at:

http://www.txla.org/groups/yart/texasteens.html


TT4L will take place on Friday, April 16, 2010 and is an opportunity for teens to experience the TLA conference.


Registration is $30 per student or non-librarian chaperone and includes a TT4L t-shirt.
