TLA News clip service

TLA is "soft launching" a new service for TLA members. We have contracted with Newspaperclip.com to provide information about recent online news stories concerning Texas libraries. We are testing this service now .

If you go to http://www.txla.org/html/NewsClips.html (which is also accessible from our main Web page), you will find a listing of articles.

The article excerpts have been clipped from Texas newspapers (available electronically). The criteria for article selection include timeliness and broad interest to the library community. Texas newspapers often feature information about specific library programs and events. As these stories are primarily of a local nature (and very numerous), they are not included. Access to the full text in many cases will require users to log into specific newspaper sites. For copyright reasons, this service provides a brief synopsis only of the articles.
